Jeff Robinson
Lead Pastor
Jeff Robinson is the Lead Pastor of Plant City Church of God and thrives on presenting the life-transforming gospel with passion and relevance. As an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God, Pastor Jeff and Carla have served pastorates in Tennessee and Maryland, as well as Administrative Bishop for the denomination’s conferences in Indiana, Montana, and North & South Dakota, and presently serves as Regional Bishop. He is a graduate of Lee University (1986) and holds an MBA from Georgia State University (1989). The Robinsons have three adult children and one grandson, Oakland.
Carla Robinson
Women's Ministries & Creative Pastor
Carla Robinson serves a dual role as Women’s Ministries & Creative Pastor. A Lee University Graduate who majored in Communications, Carla loves inspiring others to embrace “Life Abundantly” through the beauty found each day in every season of the journey. Carla enjoys speaking, teaching, family, Auburn Football and professional bull-riding.
Stone Robinson
Assistant Pastor
Pastor Stone is the Assistant Pastor and oversees the day-to-day operations of the church. He holds a Master's degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University and is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. You may receive from his teaching or preaching, hear him singing or playing, or even troubleshooting technology. He and his wife, Emma, enjoy serving the church in any way they can!
Verlo Araya
Hispanic Ministries Pastor
VERLO ANTONIO ARAYA JOFRE is an OrdainedBishop in the Church of God. His pastoral and business experience has led him to establish companies, churches, and ministries that are actively developed throughout Latin America. Verlo and his wife Maria Cecilia are the Hispanic Pastors at PCCOG. The Arayas have been married over 30 years and have built a beautiful priestly family of 4 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, and 4 grandchildren who live on 2 continents, love and serve God with all their hearts.
Greg Davis
Senior Adult Pastor
Pastor Greg has been serving at PCCOG for over 30 years. He serves with his wife, Billie Jo, and is proud to be a Plant City hometown guy. He currently serves as PCCOG's Senior Adults Pastor!
Kevin Wilson
Worship and Arts Pastor
Pastor Kevin finds a song in everything. After all, music is medicine. Kevin and his wife Julie bring over 30 years of ministry experience to the PCCOG team, having served churches in PA, MD, VA, and OH as Youth, Worship, Associate, & First Impressions Pastors and Ministry Consultants. Their heart for God, love for people, and passion for worship connect to lead the congregation to Heaven’s throne room. Kevin & Julie are committed to using a variety of musical styles and genres to pave the way for generations & cultures to worship in unity together in this house.
Ryan Kennedy
Student Ministries Pastor
Pastor Ryan leads Plant City Student Ministries. The Lee University graduate has a heart to equip the next generation for leadership. Ryan serves with his wife Jessica and their two daughters.
Jomo Thomas
Director of Discipleship and Counseling
Dr. Jomo Thomas has been in full-time ministry for over 25 years. Dr. Jomo holds a Ph.D. in Education from Liberty University, a Master’s degree in Theology from Moody Theology Seminary, and a Master’s degree in Counseling for Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix. As the Director of Discipleship and Counseling, Dr. Jomo's mission is to help believers grow in their knowledge of God through the study of God’s word. In addition, Dr. Jomo assists the community of faith to live lives of wholeness and wellness through Christian and mental health counseling services.
Michael Lawson
Children Ministries Pastor
Pastor Michael Lawson is a passionate and energetic Kids' Pastor with a heart for helping children know and grow in their relationship with Jesus. With a creative teaching style, a love for storytelling, and a whole lot of fun, Pastor Michael brings the Bible to life for kids every week. Whether through illustrated sermons, worship, games, or silly skits, he believes that every child is a world-changer in the making. Pastor Michael is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. When he’s not serving in ministry, Pastor Michael enjoys surf fishing and cooking for his family. He is married to the love of his life, Amy, and they have two children, Jace & Ally.
